Art & Rockin’ Fun to Benefit Pro Seniors at August 11 Event
Creative works by area artists and live rock from the decades will fuel the fun at Pro Seniors’ signature fundraiser, the 3rd Annual “Rock On for Seniors,” at 7 p.m. August 11 at the Cincinnati Radisson Riverfront (Covington).
The event is being dedicated to the memory of George Meinhardt, respected real estate leader, passionate community volunteer & family man, who also generously contributed to Pro Seniors as a member of the agency’s Board of Trustees in the 1990’s.
The event has attracted a great array of talented artists who are creating unique rocking chairs for the live auction. Artists include Kate Albert, Graydon Head attorney Bruce Petrie, Jr., Susan Mahan, Gary Noble, Bobbi Thies, the Indian Hill Middle School Art Club, and Visionaries & Voices artist Kevin White. Sixteen (16) one-of-a-kind rocking chairs will be featured in the popular live and silent auctions.
WCPO’s Clyde Gray will emcee, and Ohio Hall of Fame Auctioneer Don Bates will lead the live auction. Entertainment will be provided by the “The Cincy Rockers.” Tickets are $65 ($600 for table of 10).
Sponsorship opportunities are available. Event sponsors to date include Enquirer Media/Cincinnati.Com., Ritter Daniher Financial Advisory, Cooney Faulkner & Stevens, Graydon Head, Smith Beers Yunker & Company, Maureen & Tom Callinan, and the Doyle Family Foundation. Dessert sponsor is Servatii. Event co-chairs are Pro Seniors’ Board members Deborah Robb and Lynn Gray.
