Spring Break Anyone?

Spring Break Anyone?
At this time of year, I'm sure all of you already have your spring breaks planned and know where you're spending a week in the sun. This year, some of the top destinations for spring break still haven't changed; Cancun, Mexico, Panama City, Florida, Miami and South Beach, Florida, and the Bahamas and Jamaica are still on there. But why doesn't everyone try something new and go to somewhere out of this world!?
I will be spending my spring break in the Cayman Islands, which has a gorgeous seven-mile beach and so much to do. To me, the beach is the easily the best part of any vacation spot. If you don't have a good beach, well you might as well not go. Another problem with a lot of spring break destinations is that you may be staying at a five star resort and not be safe, like with a number of places in Mexico. That's what's good about the Caymans, you're safe wherever you go!
If you're going to one of the typical destination areas, try and spice it up next year! I'm sure the prices won't be as high if you're going somewhere that not many people will be and you won't even have to fight for chairs on the beach! That really is the worst part about crowded resorts. You should be able to soak up the sun without being bothered by obnoxious groups of teenagers or tourists. Spring break should definitely be a time to relax with your friends and family, so if you have already planned everything that you're doing, take a break! Have at least one day to yourself to chill out and relax, don't jam pack your schedule with things to do.
On this wonderful first day of spring, please go outside and do something fun! Since we didn't really have much of a winter, I say we just embrace the warm weather as much as possible. Make sure to have fun in the next weeks and don't stress out, just relax in the sun!
