Marvin's Organic Gardens celebrated it's fourth annual Earth Day celebration (sponsored by Whole Foods Market) on April 23rd from noon- 6pm. Kicking off festivities, the first 200 guests were awarded goodie bags complete with eco-conscious products from t-shirts and reusable shopping bags to bug repellant and organic snacks, while 25 lucky guests were drawn at random for door prizes of up to $100+ in value! This family-friendly event featured green-friendly vendors that are all dedicated to providing information, products, and services to help us live a greener lifestyle. thinkGREEN also featured live music from Cincy Veg and Amy Ferguson, face painting compliments of Face Painting by Tuesday, and a petting farm thanks to Sunrock Farm, including other fun activities. Not to mention, food from Sugar Cupcakery, Loving Hut, and Whole Foods, paired with live demonstrations courtesy of the Culinary Department of the Art Institute made this FREE, public event one HUGE hit!
